Arived just after opening so with more time and experience for the staff this could be a good place to visit. At the time the men's toilets were not in service and there was no alcohol free beers available. Great music playing and the decor was clean and fresh. I didn't get chance to try the menu. It's great to see the building in use again.
Good budget place to stay. Differing room standards. Shower's in rooms not great.

Location is very good and only a short walk into the centre of stafford. Nice and quiet and was not disturbed during the night. The only downside was that the man at the front desk on the evening shift is not a people person to put it nicely
Location is good. Next to a mini retail park with some fast food. Can easily walk into centre of town.

Very old building, so expect uneven, creaky flooring. Bedroom was clean and well decorated. Shower was powerful with easy to use controls and plenty of hot water. Bed king size and very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We ran out of milk for bedroom tea, it was no problem to get jug of fresh milk from bar for free. Breakfast had buffet fruit cereals and drinks followed by served full English. Car park with barrier, but slightly too small if hotel full. For a hotel just a short walk from town centre pleasantly quiet at night. Overall a good experience, would use it again.
A gorgeous old building - old wooden beams everywhere and meandering corridors. Far more character than the modern hotel chains. Staff were brilliant - so friendly and helpful. The chef even came out to speak to me directly about my food intolerances. Such an old building will not, of course, be perfect, and there were a few corners that could've done with a slightly harder clean, but the bits that mattered - bed linen, towels, sink, toilet and bath/shower were clean. It's right in the centre of Stafford - it's a minute's walk from Market Square, and they have their own car park for guests. Very reasonable price and good food. Would certainly go and stay there again.

I can't recommend this place enough. Best burgers you'll ever have, they keep their beer well, friendly and funny staff, and just an overall great atmosphere. Also an amazing open mic every Thursday.
The best burgers I've ever had. Anywhere. Crayfish Mac'n'cheese on the side and really, really good ales to wash it down. This place is great. They also have entertainment and board game evenings on Sundays - not been to one yet but it's such a friendly place I can imagine it's good craic

Lovely old cinema converted into a pub. Slightly strange layout but it grows on you. Nice usual Wetherspoons selection of meals and drinks.

Very nice family run business keen prices also very clean and tidy
A small guesthouse just outside of Stafford town centre, Wyndale is currently (21/11/15) undergoing renovations to modernise. Some of the rooms and halls are a little old fashioned and some are completely up to date. At the moment it's pot luck which you'd end up in. But whichever one you get, the food is great, the owners are very friendly, the beds are comfy and it's a nice little place to stay.

Beautiful location and lovely hosts. Richard cooks a mean breakfast.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Great for holidays in the UK and agents for Fred olsen cruises.
Just returned from a 5day trip to the Brehon Hotel in Killarney. Without doubt it was the best coach trip we have been on. Our driver ( John) was brilliant-could not do enough for us. The hotel was excellent and the trips were Ist class. Would definately recommend this holiday with Leons. Thank you again John. Enfys Grant
