A great second hand bikes and parts shop. Veritable Aladdin's cave of bike bits and very good prices. Also do bike servicing and repairs.
Fantastic second hand bike shop. Bikes are well-maintained, value for money and most importantly miles better than those cheap nasty bikes from supermarkets. They repair and upgrade bikes too and I never seem to visit without buying something. Excellent for parts, light conversation on the topic of the weight of alloy stems and general bike-geekyness.

Very helpful, friendly staff, highly recommended
Knowledgeable and very friendly and welcoming staff, a decent selection of bikes, and a well-equipped workshop.

Found the perfect bike for me!! Went in late in the afternoon expecting to be rushed into a purchase (previous experience at specialized). I explained how my crosstrail agrivated a bulging c6 on my spine due to the riding position. After a number of different headstock and handlebar combinations I ended up with the perfect bike and riding position for me! Nothing was too much trouble even though it was so late in the day. Professional, Passionate and exceptional customer service.
A phone call to confirm an order and a clear answer regarding delivery was given. I don't ask any better.

Tom in the bikes department is an absolute credit to the store. Knowledgeable without being condescending, is warm, friendly and approachable and still takes the time to listen to and advise customers without rushing them even during the hectic Christmas period when all the guys have their workload hugely increased. And he also highlights accessories that may be of use without aggressively pushing to make sales. As someone who previously found bike shopping for my kids an intimidating experience I cannot recommend Halfords Stafford highly enough. Good Job Tom and the other guys.
Usually very quick service, tools can be hit and miss and also a bit expensive. As long as you have access to 'trade card' this is a good store to get the odd tool or routine maintenance parts for your car.

Excellent customer service. Needed a suspension bolt for my 2004 Epic but the bolt kit is no longer available. Specialized Stafford investigated with Specialized UK and asked me to send in the bolt details, photo etc and they'd see if they could find the individual bolt. In the end a full bolt kit was found and posted out. The Epic will ride again!
My partner and I were cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End. After cycling quite some distance to Stafford, we visited the Specialized store for some technical assistance (somewhat in desperation). All the guys at the store were friendly, warm and extremely helpful. I was particularly impressed with the speed and high-tech knowledge of the staff: who were not only interested in our journey but keen to help us back on our way. My partner, friend and myself had some niggling cycling geometrical issues with our bikes (as well as technical failures of our own bikes), and all our issues were addressed which made a significant difference to both our cycling comfort and being able to continue with our journey! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!

Can't agree with the negative reviews here. I was dealt with promptly and the assistant was most helpful and friendly. There was a much wider range of stock than the previous branch I visited.
They sell sports stuff directly to you
